Sharon Barke

Owner & Everything Else

"...Out standing in her field..."

As a Creative Administrator, Sharon has been sought after for her unique combination of administrative support services and visual marketing skills.

She takes great pride in her role of helping to keep the promotional cogs of shArke-attacK marketing & design’s clients moving like a well-oiled machine!

Her earlier career homes of note have included the Edmonton Chamber of Commerce / World Trade Centre, Calder Bateman Communications, Canada Mortgage Direct, The Little Black Book for Busy Families, and Marathon Benefits Corp.  When she became a full-time mom mid-career, Sharon began doing graphic design and websites for clients, friends, and family from home, which has since blossomed into shArke-attacK marketing & design.

Sharon graduated high school at 16 with an Advanced Diploma, and went straight into a double degree at Concordia University and University of Alberta studying Psychology, English (majors) and Biology (minor).  She’s also recently completed an accredited Advanced Online Practitioner Diploma with the Shaw Academy (UK).

She's currently working in the agricultural sector which she finds particularly fascinating, and is enjoying learning everything there is to know about the science and economics of the cage free poultry industry.

While living in Edmonton, she volunteered with Little Bits Therapeutic Riding Association for Persons with Disabilities.

When she’s not working hard at shArke-attacK, or studying, you can find her enjoying the things she loves most in life…her KIDS, photography, hiking, shopping, wine, movies, live music, and road trips.  In the near future, she wants to continue ballroom & Latin dance, as well as fulfilling her dreams of riding her motorcycle through Italy.
